About the Author
Mark Gregory began his rock and roll life, such as it is, at the age of 15. As a particularly incompetent drummer in the lamentable Prog-Blues band - Idlewife. To his continual amazement and amusement, he has since managed to sustain a career in the radio broadcasting industry for almost 30 years. He spawned the chaotic UK heavy metal fanzine and concert promotion company - 'Cleveland Rocks' in the early 1980s, before writing on an infrequent freelance basis for metal bible - Kerrang! He is now an international award winning radio writer and producer, creative director and rock show broadcaster, having worked at radio stations right around the UK since 1983. His most recent labour of rock love, was to produce and present 363 consecutive five hour editions of the 'Morning Glory' breakfast show, for DAB station - Rock Radio in his native North East England. 'No Sleep Till Saltburn' is his first book.
