After joining the U.S. Air Force he was trained as an Aircraft Instrument Technician. His first experience with alarms came as a technician for American Alarm Company in Cincinnati, OH. He become manager of the central station and worked there for ten years until the company was acquired by Honeywell Alarm. Mr. Morawski moved to Los Angeles in 1983 and became Technical Support Manager for API, the largest security company in California. Over the next 13 years he held various positions such as Applications Manager, Director of Engineering and Sales Support Manager. API was acquired by ADT in 1996 and Mr. Morawski became Regional Installation Manager and later Western Region Manager for the Engineered Systems Division. In 1998 Mr. Morawski helped start UPS Security, which was primarily involved in remote management of security systems.
