About the Author
Writer Christopher Priest has penned many Marvel titles -- including Falcon, Power Man and Iron Fist, Conan the Barbarian, Deadpool and The Crew -- but he is best known for his stunning revitalization of Black Panther for the Marvel Knights line. Priest co-founded Milestone Comics and co-created the fan-favorite Quantum and Woody for Acclaim Comics. Priest's later Marvel credits include Captain America & the Falcon, Spider-Force and U.S.Agent.

After breaking into comics with the Marvel UK imprint, Spanish artist Paco Diaz joined writer Christopher Priest on Deadpool. He has since worked on titles such as Nightwing and Wonder Woman for DC, Prototype 2 for Dark Horse, and the Dungeons & Dragons Annual 2012 for IDW. Diaz's extensive Marvel credits include Hawkeye: Blindspot, X-Men: Emperor Vulcan, Mighty Avengers, Wolverine and Thunderbolts. At the cutting edge of the digital-comics revolution, Diaz drew Wolverine vs. Thor and worked on the Wolverine: Japan's Most Wanted Infinite Comic.

Artist Andy Smith has been penciling and inking for Marvel Comics for more than twenty years, including notable work on Quasar and Spider-Man. Smith has also worked for DC, Image and CrossGen, and as a commercial artist. In addition, Smith has written the books "Drawing American Manga Super-Heroes" and "Drawing Dynamic Comics."

Re-imagining New Mutants into X-Force was only the start for industry maverick Rob Liefeld, one of the leaders of the 1990s comics revolution. After introducing both Cable and Deadpool, he launched an even bigger collaboration as one of the founders of Image Comics with his original property Youngblood. In 1996, he participated in Marvel's controversial multi-title Heroes Reborn event. After collaborating with Alan Moore on revamped Image creations, Liefeld reunited with co-writer Fabian Nicieza on an X-Force miniseries and then revisited Heroes Reborn in Onslaught Reborn with writer Jeph Loeb. Liefeld returned to his most famous co-creation with the graphic novel Deadpool: Bad Blood and introduced a new sensation in Major X.
