The new concepts such as microcapsules and compression coating which are normally designed for sustained\/controlled\/extended and enteric release are proposed for enhancing the dissolution rate of Pioglitazone. Similarly the taste masking polymer EudragitE100 is employed to improve the dissolution rate. The process of coacervation with change in pH of the liquid manufacturing vehicle is another novel concept introduced in this investigation.
