DR. ELMER HUERTA, MD, MPH, considered one of the most reliable sources of medical information in Spanish in the United States and Latin America, specialized in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology and obtained his Master's in Public Health and his specialty in cancer prevention and control. He presided over the American Cancer Society and founded the Preventorium of Cancer, which he directs, at the Cancer Institute of MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.
