Most of us long to be more creative, and many of us believe that becoming so is impossible because we aren't truly creative. This approach is wrong and only causes our creativity to fall asleep within us, along with our true essence. We often deny ourselves the pleasure of dreaming, of achieving what we've always desired, of rejecting our natural impulses, our own personality.
The Artist's Way teaches us to create with greater freedom through the conscious use of a series of tools that will help us overcome creative blocks. Its effect is similar to yoga, and the constant practice of daily writing—morning pages—artist dates, play, and thorough guided introspection will modify our consciousness and open us to a new imaginative horizon. Thanks to the teachings of the renowned writer and artist Julia Cameron, we will embark on a creative and spiritual path that will take us back to our true nature, and in twelve masterful lessons, we will be able to rehabilitate our creativity, surrender to imagination, and find the meaning of our existence.
A revealing journey through our insecurities and fears, but also through our memories, our goals, and the best of ourselves. A necessary work for writers, poets, actors, painters, musicians, or any other creative individual.
"Creativity has neither bottom nor ceiling, even if parts of its growth are slow. The ingredient needed is faith—understood as ironclad self-confidence. This book shows you the path and the faith needed to unleash people's creativity. Take it as an exercise to open yourself to a new perspective and release the artist within you." -Julia Cameron ENGLISH DESCRIPTION
