Descripción

For everyone who was fascinated by The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

A love story between two outsiders smart enough to know that first love is never forever, but brave enough to try.

"Bono met his wife in high school," Park said.
"Yeah, and so did Jerry Lee Lewis," Eleanor said.
"I'm not kidding."
"You should be. We're sixteen," Eleanor said.
"What about Romeo and Juliet?"
"Superficial, confused, and then dead."
"I love you," Park said. "I'm not kidding."
"You should be."

Eleanor is new to high school; her family life is a disaster; with her intense red hair, her strange and mismatched way of dressing, she couldn't attract more attention if she tried.

Park is half-Korean; his family life is calm; he's not exactly popular, but with his black t-shirts, headphones, and books, he's managed to be invisible.

It all begins when Park agrees to let Eleanor sit next to him on the school bus on the first day of class. At first they don't even talk, but little by little they share their hobbies and begin a friendship... only to end up falling in love the way you fall in love for the first time, when you're young, and you feel like you have nothing and everything to lose.

Eleanor & Park was awarded the GoodReads Choice Award 2013 in the young adult literature category and the Boston Globe Horn Book 2013 for best fiction book.

About the Author
Rainbow Rowell was born in Nebraska in 1973, and her literary career began relatively recently, in 2011, with the novel Attachments, which allowed her to enter The New York Times bestseller list. This position was consolidated with the publication, two years later, of Fangirl (2013) and the award-winning Eleanor & Park (2013), which received the Goodreads Choice Award (2013) and was Amazon's best book of the month. This success in such a short period of time has established her as one of the most influential and prestigious authors for American critics.
She currently lives with her husband and two children in Omaha.
