Tales of massacres, military campaigns, heroism and cowardice; Simon Girty, Generals Braddock and Washington, and a whole host of the famous and infamous that made the history of this era. Written in 1843, in the prose of that time, the author, even at that late date was able to talk to some of the actual participants in the events and share their tales with his readers.
