Carolyn Curtis is an award-winning author and poet who lives in Massachusetts, USA with her family, including - always! - a beloved dog or two. She has enjoyed nurturing both people and pets in a variety of professional and volunteer positions. She believes it's important to embrace the world with a sense of wonder, and draws inspiration from the children she has been fortunate to know.

A graduate in illustration from the London College of Printing, Alison Jay has been illustrating children's books for ten years.
