Descripción

For several years it has been stated that the training of the human body has reached the limit of conditional capacities and that the most important advantages in soccer will come 'from the head'. This phrase is very well oriented, although it is still posed from a paradigm that is increasingly far from understanding a complex phenomenon such as soccer. If during the 20th century an attempt was made to subdivide this sport and its protagonists into increasingly smaller parts, assuming that by improving each one the whole would be improved, today we must return to the roots of the phenomenon of the living: the indivisible. We cannot isolate mind from body, nor human being from context (material, social and cultural). The Situated Perspective is a transdisciplinary attempt to think without breaking this unity and in this book we try to make soccer dialogue with psychology without separating the mind on one side and the body on the other, but rather, from the same field of play, we propose an approach to the development of male and female players and to the contributions that female and male psychologists can make to the training of male and female soccer players.
