About the Author
Cixin Liu is the most prolific and popular science fiction author in the People's Republic of China. Liu has won the Galaxy Award (the equivalent of the Hugo Award in his country) eight times and the Chinese Nebula, before making his "Three-Body Trilogy" a work capable of selling a million copies in China alone, sparking unanimous interest throughout the West, winning the 2015 Hugo Award for Best Novel, and earning endorsements from the likes of Barack Obama and Mark Zuckerberg.

His enormous success is now repeated in all international markets, thanks to genre fans, but also, and above all, to the millions of readers interested in current geopolitics and in China's past and future.
