ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Cristian Perfumo writes thrillers set in Argentine Patagonia, where he grew up.
The first, El secreto sumergido (2011), is inspired by a true story and has already had eight editions, with thousands of copies sold worldwide.
In 2014 he published Dónde enterré a Fabiana Orquera, which sold out several print editions and in July 2015 became the seventh best-selling book on Amazon in Spain and the tenth in Mexico.
Cazador de farsantes (2015), his third novel with cold and wind, also sold out its first print run.
El coleccionista de flechas (2017) won the Amazon Literary Award, to which more than 1800 works by authors from 39 countries were submitted, and is being adapted for the screen.
Rescate gris (2018) was a finalist for the Clarín Novel Award 2018, one of the most important literary awards in Latin America, and was later published by Suma de Letras.
In 2020 he published Los ladrones de Entrevientos, a heist novel that has been defined by critics as La casa de papel in Patagonia.
He recently published Los crímenes del glaciar (2021).
His books have been translated into English and French and published in audiobook and braille formats.
After living for years in Australia, Cristian is based in Barcelona.
