About the Author
Born in 1960, David Baldacci graduated in Law from the University of Virginia and worked as a lawyer in Washington for nine years. The unanimous recognition with which the public and critics received his first novels led him to abandon law to dedicate himself entirely to writing. Since then, David Baldacci has been one of the great names in contemporary thriller; his work has been translated into thirty-four languages and published in more than eighty countries. David Baldacci also collaborates with the film world: he is the author of six screenplays and his first novel Absolute Power (1996) was brought to the big screen under the direction of Clint Eastwood.
