Born in southern Florida as a first-generation American, Jasmine fell in love with writing during her time in high school, where she featured her writing in small publications and performed spoken word poetry at local events. Throughout her life, Jasmine has experienced and written about self-awareness, trauma, cultural appropriation, substance abuse, and falling in and out of love. Her first collection of poetry, Love Lazy, includes three parts that explore the journey of self-realization and discovery, falling in and out of love, and losing yourself in love.
