Descripción
Mr. March is serving as a chaplain in the American Civil War, and his daughters and wife eagerly read the letters he sends them from the front. This novel follows the adventures of his four daughters, Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy, who grow up in the warmth of their mother's love and try to overcome the adversities that their poor family status entails.
With the aim of bringing the work closer to younger readers, Austral offers a reduced version of the story of the four March sisters. Through Rosa Navarro's text, whose objective has been to preserve the beauty, attractiveness, entertainment, and all the assertive force of the novel, we access the adventures of this endearing family that has left an indelible mark on so many generations of readers.

About the Author
Louisa May Alcott (1832-1888) was born in Germantown, Pennsylvania, and after spending much of her life in Boston, she died in Concord, Massachusetts. The energy and independence she had since childhood accompanied her throughout her life and led her to accept different jobs to help her family financially. In 1854, Alcott published her first book, Flower Fables, followed by more than thirty novels and collections of stories. But her name would always be linked to Little Women, a novel she wrote between May and July of 1868 at the request of her publishers.
