La explosiva obra de Simon Stephens, Rage, fue escrita como contrapunto de Wut de Elfriede Jelinek. Compuesta por 31 escenas de gran energía, cada una se basa en una serie de fotos de Joel Goodman que capturaron la emoción y el caos de la Nochevieja de 2015/16 en el centro de Manchester. Publicadas en el Manchester Evening News, las fotos se hicieron virales rápidamente al capturar una sección vital de un país al límite.

Cuando el reloj marca las doce, el ambiente festivo se convierte en violencia, racismo, propuestas de matrimonio y la apertura de portales. Adéntrate en la locura y déjate llevar por el hedonismo de la juventud.

Rage se estrenó en el Thalia Theatre de Hamburgo en otoño de 2016 y tuvo su estreno en el Reino Unido en la Royal Welsh School of Music and Drama en 2018.
