Through nine encounters between Iván and Caro, the author shows the reader two characters, people and personalities - which is all the same and different at the same time - and the relationship that is woven and unraveled between them. In the writing, above narration and descriptions, the following predominate: agile, sparkling, and sincere dialogues, but above all reflective and full of introspection. Each encounter explores a central theme around which the differences in thought, the affections that are unleashed, and the emotions experienced by both interlocutors unfold and revolve; the way in which each one faces the universal touchstones that are life, love, and death.
