As a plastic surgeon, I have spent countless hours speaking to women about the various pros and cons of cosmetic breast surgery, the different options available and the right procedure to obtain the results desired. Just as every patient and every breast is different from the next, the proper procedure will likely be different as well. About the Author
Dr. Lovelle obtained her medical school training at the prestigious Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, where she co-authored multiple journal articles on subjects ranging from nutrition to neuroscience. She graduated with numerous honors and awards including Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society, and the National Medical Fellowship's Franklin C. McClean Award, presented to the most outstanding minority medical student in the nation. Compelled by a desire to practice medicine in an environment that would allow her, both the opportunity for professional satisfaction as well as enjoyment of family life, in 2003, Dr. Lovelle decided to relocate to Elizabeth City, North Carolina, where she owned and operated Carolina Plastic Surgery Specialists. There, she filled a void for both reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery, including breast reconstructions, augmentations, and management of skin cancers.
