About the Author
From childhood days, Wayne Negus (1907 -1991) longed to emulate the exploits of the Rocky Mountain Fur Trappers. For 70 years, he braved the elements, first in North Dakota, then in Oregon and Arizona. Besides his trapping exploits, he also cooked in restaurants and logging camps and worked as a timber faller. He loved to regale his friends and families with stories about his adventures.
