About the Author
Al M. Rocca is Professor of Education and History at Simpson University in Redding, California. He also serves as a Faculty Advisor for California State University, Monterey Bay in the CalStateTeach Program. He has written numerous articles and books including a textbook in United States History and on the local history of Northern California. He served as Editor of the Social Studies Review for eleven years.
