Description
Stifled for two decades by an unloving husband, after his drowning death in 1980, Judy Welden helped her new husband set up his Chiropractic office, began writing songs (eventually wrote 400 +), started two publishing companies and two record labels.
She later recorded over 100 of her original songs and also performed in her own area, being too busy to travel; except for an overseas tour in 1998, first performing at the Zevenbergen Festival in the Netherlands.
Winning many awards for her songs, her work ethic when promoting others, plus sheer determination gave Judy the credibility to succeed. Judy Welden was called "Wonder Woman of the 90's", by promoter Gene Bear, because she single-handedly released19 compilation CDs in 3 genres to radio stations worldwide from '94 to '99. Promoting over 100 singer/songwriters, she included one of her songs on each CD. From 1992 to 2018, she recorded 9 albums of her own music, with two dozen of her songs reaching #1 on Independent charts.
In 2015 Judy was dubbed "Diamond of the Decade" by PRN FM, because of her continued success with her music and the fact that she patented a unique bandana hat without an Attorney. An unstoppable survivor, Judy Welden's life and career has much substance and variety, making her title more appropriate than "My Life in Songs", that she once planned to use.
Her Memoir tells of her earlier life and the struggles she endured in an interesting, often humorous manner.
Reading Judy Welden's story will uplift the reader, motivating them to never give up on their dreams!
