About the Author
Biraima (Bir) Adam, was born to a nomadic Baggara family, in Sudan, during late sixties time frame, in one of the most remote and mountainous area, in western Central Sudan. He was raising and rearing cattle with his fellow Baggara kins. 1989, the author graduated in Khartoum University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Forestry with the best student prize. 1993 the author completed his master degree in the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania, Greece, in the Department of Renewable Natural Resources. In 1997, the author emigrated to the US where lives with his family. 2003, graduate from University of Marymount, Department of Computer Science with MS in Software Engineering. Since then the author work as software developer, Engineer and Software Architect. I have authored the book: Baggara of Sudan: Culture and Environment, which gives detailed description of Baggara people culture in relation to the environment in which they live.
