About the Author
The Rev. Father Ignatius Schuster, D.D., was a priest and author of the twentieth century. His widely-circulated Illustrated Bible History of the Old and New Testaments, which has been used for years in Catholic schools, was written as a synopsis of sacred Scripture for sixth through eighth grade students. It was originally published circa the mid-1900s by the B. Herder Book Company, Missouri, with the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur. Father Schuster's work was also printed by TAN in 1974.
