Catheleen Jordan, PhD, LCSW, is Professor of Social Work at the University of Texas, Arlington and an NASW Pioneer (2017). She is on the editorial board of Health and Social Work. Jordan is the author or editor of ten books including Introduction to Family Social Work (2013).

Cynthia Franklin, PhD, LCSW, is the Stiernberg/Spencer Family Professor in Mental Health and Associate Dean for Doctoral Education in the Steve Hicks School of Social Work at the University of Texas, Austin. Recognized as one of the top 100 contemporary social work faculty, Franklin is the author of over 200 publications.
