Single crochet (UK double) forms a dense, firm base that's ideal for stitching on using either crochet yarn or stranded cotton. The effect is a beautiful, textured, raised design that combines the delicacy and charm of embroidery with the soft, tactile feel of crochet. This means you can transform your simple crocheted items into stunning, intricate pieces you'll love.

  • A basic introduction to the materials, tools and techniques, including stitch instructions for both the crochet and the embroidery
  • 10 pretty projects - discover an enchanting meadow-themed wall hanger, a basket set emblazoned with roses, a granny-square blanket adorned with woodland birds and magical mushroom bunting.
  • All the projects will consist of a simple crochet pattern plus a chart and key to show how the embroidery is worked over the top.
  • Includes 24 pages of reusable transfers that make the projects come to life!
