About the Author
Mark Amatrudo has been a member of a volunteer fire department since 1974. He has served as an instructor in the Connecticut Fire Academy. In the career fire service, he has been a Chief of Operations and an Acting Chief of Department. He has been a consultant to departments as well as to firefighting-related industries. He is an expert in interviewing and currently serves as Deputy Chief in the Wilton, CT Fire Department. Bill Peltz was an award-winning, master classroom teacher for nearly forty years before starting his own education-based businesses. He is an expert in test design and high-stakes test preparation, has run statewide to international level professional development programs, and has lectured on the application of brain science to education. He is the author of over 200 papers and books, and he teaches a firefighter exam and interview prep course at Norwalk (CT) Community College.
