About the Author
Aaron Sams (@chemicalsams) is an assistant professor of education at Saint Vincent College in Pennsylvania. He's a former high school chemistry teacher, and during that time, he chaired the committee to revise the Colorado science education standards. Sams received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching in 2009. He has co-authored many books on the flipped classroom concept, and regularly publishes his research on STEM education policy and practice. He's the co-author of several books, including the landmark ISTE/ASCD book Flip Your Classroom. Sams resides in Pittsburgh with his wife and three children, and can often be found biking on local trails, climbing sandstone crags in West Virginia or cooking in his backyard.
