God in the Shadows: The Revealing of His Kingdom

God in the Shadows, hidden from view, hidden from the casual observer, findable only by those whose hearts burn for Him. He is tucked away in the clutter of our circumstances; He whispers to us out of the overcasting details of everyday life, as well as from the midst of those overwhelming crises that arise from time to time. In each, and out of each is the calling fragrance that there is more; there is more here than what my senses can see. He draws me/us to come closer, to come where He resides. And as I approach nearer and nearer His shadow covers me, the brilliance of His person overwhelms me and I 'see' Him for who He is. I am humbled by how little I know Him. My Lord and my God, I hardly know You God is lurking in the midst of life, speaking to us in every possible situation and circumstance, and He desires that we KNOW Him above all things. We seem to think that He is primarily concerned in what we DO, when He is most concerned in our KNOWING Him. This short book has only one purpose and that is to provoke us to draw nearer to God, with the eternal promise that He will, in response, draw nearer to us. I pray you get that. Above all else, I pray you get that.
