Grace is not just God's favor; it is also His empowerment to us so that we can overcome our weakness and sin to do His will (Romans 6:14). Everyone who has grace has the Holy Spirit living in them and can live a supernatural life naturally. Jesus wants to live His life through us, as us.
The Gift of the Holy Spirit was sent to us as a Helper. The Holy Spirit is a Person, not just an impersonal influence. Jesus did not leave us helpless (John 14:26, 15:26). Being filled with the Spirit is continual (Ephesians 5:18). Spiritual gifts are supernatural manifestations of God's power provided by the Holy Spirit.
Living a Life of Faith is like a mustard seed that must be planted, watered, fertilized, protected, and pruned. True spiritual life flows from our spirit and affects our mind. Faith is a gift of grace. Faith is taking that first step without seeing what is ahead. Faith occurs when we stop trying to do something by our own efforts and trust the Lord to do it for us. Belief and faith are not the same. Acting on our belief means we have faith.
