About the Author
Nancy Butler, historical fiction author, has published two novellas and eleven novels, including the RITA award-winning Rake's Retreat, as well as The Quotable Lover and The Greatest Romance Stories Ever Told. A lifelong dog lover, she lives in Teaneck, New Jersey. Lamar Underwood is the former editor-in-chief of Sports Afield and Outdoor Life magazines. He is the author of the novel On Dangerous Ground, and is editor of numerous anthologies for Lyons Press.
