Brett Abel and Elizabeth Roark were two widowed seniors when they met on a Rock and Roll Oldies cruise in the early summer of 2020. Brett, a former rock and roll singer from the 60's, was performing with his reunited band, the Suntones. Brett and Elizabeth's accidental meeting onboard soon became a friendship as they discovered a shared faith in God and Christian values.
Believing their remaining years would be ordinary, and hopefully peaceful, an incident on the last night of the cruise changed their lives forever. The two found themselves transported back 100 years into the turbulent lives of 24-year-old Joseph Vanover and his 20-year-old wife, Clarissa.
