The book that we have the honour of submitting to the kind attention of our readers has the following main objectives: - to make our contribution to the scientific debate on the understanding of issues relating to the concepts and evaluation of public policies; - to provide the general public with a tool for explaining and popularising the basic concepts relating to public policies; - to help highlight the need to take account of sectoral specificities when evaluating public policies.
