About the Author
Duard Slattery has a BA in psychology from Stanford, and an MS in engineering from San Diego State. After the BA degree, and subsequent jobs as a ranch hand, taxi driver, animal trainer, and cold-calling salesman, Duard returned to college for a degree in engineering, financed by student jobs and student loans. He is now semi-retired from a successful career in engineering and software. He is working on several books and splits his time between homes in San Diego and Tahoe.
