About the Author
A.J. Cushner is a retired Boston trial attorney, magazine and newspaper columnist and a graduate of Bowdoin College and Boston University Law School. He is a deep-water sailor, aviator, alpine climber, expert trap and pistol shooter, fly-fisherman and skier. He lived in West Tisbury on the Vineyard for many years and now resides in Florida.
