Landmarks of Scientfic Socialism: Anti-D hring (German: Herrn Eugen D hrings Umw lzung der Wissenschaft, "Herr Eugen D hring's Revolution in Science") is a book by Friedrich Engels, which was first published in German in 1878. It had previously been serialised in a periodical called Vorw rts. There were two other German editions during Engels' life. Anti-D hring was first published in English translation in 1907.The work was perhaps Engels' most important contribution and development within Marxist theory.Eugen D hring had previously created his own version of socialism, which was supposed to be a replacement for Marxism. This work was supposed to be a defence of Marxism against produced his own version of socialism, intended as a replacement for Marxism from D hring's attack.
