About the Author
David Umstot is a nationally recognized authority in Lean project delivery, design-build, program management and sustainability. He has seen the industry from 360 degrees as a designer, builder, design-builder, facilities manager, executive, owner and coach. He is a principal of Umstot Project and Facilities Solutions and an associate faculty member at San Diego State University. Dan Fauchier is an INIFAC-Certified Master Facilitator for Lean Design and Construction facilitating, training, and coaching scores of contractors, designers, developers and public agencies since 2009. He started his Lean journey on the $7 Billion California Prison Healthcare Receivership which resulted in a $1B facility in Stockton in 2012. Dan is a principal of the The ReAlignment Group of California and is based in San Diego.
