About the Author
James Higbie has worked in educational programs in Thailand, Laos, Sierra Leone, and Sudan, specializing in primary education and language teaching. He is a graduate of Denison University, Ohio and received an MA in Second Language Acquisition from the University of Hawaii. James is fluent in both Thai and Lao and has written a number of books on the two languages, including the acclaimed Thai Reference Grammar (also published by Orchid Press).
