About the Author
Noel Clark was born in London and studied at Queen's College, Oxford. He has worked for the BBC as a foreign correspondent and then as a freelance literary translator - mostly of classic plays in verse - from Polish, French, Dutch and German. His translations include the works of Fredro, Wyspianski, Vondel, Kleist, Lessing, Corneille, Moliere, and many others.
