Hélène Adeline Guerber (1859-1929), better known as H. A. Guerber, was an American historian renowned for her studies of Nordic myths. Her most recognized work is Myths of the Norsemen: From the Eddas and Sagas, published in 1908. Other works by Guerber include The Myths of Greece & Rome, Legends of the Rhine, The Story of the Greeks, The Story of the Romans, Legends of the Middle Ages, and The Story of the Great Republic.
