Description
The role of the chaplain is to be a stress reducer, a "transformer" if you will. No matter what other tasks the chaplain is assigned, he or she is in a position to scale down the electric franticness of the institution or the situation and give it a moment of rest, of breathing room, and to offer a chance to reflect upon what brought us all to this point in our lives in the first place.
This book collects some of his "reflections" and is a sample of his warmth, humor, and love for all.
Readers will be able to:
- read a chapter for each week of a college's fall and spring semester;
- see how Biblical principles relate to the college experience;
- remember how God's love can bind up anxiety despite the situation.
