About the Author
Eriko Sato teaches Japanese language, linguistics and pedagogy as well as courses in translation studies and the acquisition of Asian languages at SUNY Stony Brook. She serves as an adviser for teacher education programs for Japanese. Dr. Sato has developed many courses including the first online Japanese course at her university.
