Description

A fiction story of a lost grandson found just in time to inherit a homestead in Montana. When gold was discovered in Libby the chaotic lifestyle of prospectors taking over the town drove the grandparents to homestead land in a valley in the mountains. The grandson decides to rebuild the cabin and preserve what his grandparents had created. Little did he know he was entering a region which became the number one environmental disaster in the country. While the homestead was protected by the mountains, the town was witnessing a lost paradise. His grandmother recites the history of the region she left and unknowingly escaped the deadly dust which eventually killed many of the people. The second section of the book is not fiction and tells the story of the disaster.

About the Author
This is the nineth published book of the author who is a story teller. His worldly travels has taken him to many countries, where as a columnist he worked for The Korea Times, The Korea Herald, Newsday and many other publications. Growing up in Oakhurst, New Jersey and spending many days on the beach, he watched freighters leaving New York City leaving a smudge of black smoke on the horizon. It is no wonder he hiked around the world, trying to discover where those ships went.
