Description
Cantry is a romantic 20-year-old horseman, enamored with Henry repeaters, muzzleloading rifles and a way of life that existed Two Hundred years ago. He is the nephew of cattle owner, Ian, living in the sand-hills near Kindred, North Dakota in 1990. Cantry pursues some stray cattle after they have been scattered by a severe thunderstorm, only to find that a pack of vicious, wild dogs have picked up the trail. His search companion, Jewel, is a perky, sharp witted, barrel racer in her late teens. With their trusty mounts, the two of them head out on, what should otherwise be, an ordinary day for rounding up cattle. As the morning unfolds neither Cantry nor Jewel, realize the adventure and dangers that lie ahead.
Follow Cantry and Jewel as they unravel a puzzling trail that leads them into a - ride in the open spaces.
