About the Author
Kathleen Stone is a National Board Certified educator with over thirty-five years of teaching experience. When not teaching she can often be found spending time with her family hiking, going to the ocean, or visiting neighborhood parks. Her other interests include quilting, reading, and volunteering at the local fire department as a Juvenile Firesetter Interventionist (teaching children and their families about the consequences and dangers of fire setting). She and her husband, Gary, live in the Olympia area.
