THE JEFFERSON BOTTLES

How should one gatherer find such a lot of uncommon fine wine? (2007)
THE MOST EXPENSIVE BOTTLE of wine at any point sold at sell off was presented at Christie's in London on December 5, 1985. The jug was made of handblown dull green glass and covered with a nubby mark of thick dark wax. It had no name, yet carved into the glass in a spindly hand was the year 1787, "Lafitte," and the letters "Th.J." The container came from an assortment of wine that had supposedly been found behind a bricked-up basement wall in an old structure in Paris.
