About the Author
For over sixty years, Janice Ladendorf has been working with horses. Unlike most amateurs, she has trained her own hunters and dressage horses, one of whom was a Spanish Mustang. She has a B.A. degree magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota with a major in history, as well as a master's degree in Library Science. In her books and numerous articles, she had advocated using humane training methods to build a partnership with your horse. Since she retired, she has focused on applying the discipline of history to the study of horses and horsemanship.
