About the Author

JOAN GARNER has been involved in theatre for over 20 years, participating in every aspect of play production while concentrating most heavily on theatre design. She has produced, directed, and acted, and most significantly, has been the production designer for over 40 plays, the majority of these being challenging musicals. She has also taught the art of set design and decoration, and has served on the board of directors at the community theatre level.
