What Damian does not yet know is that the DATW, or Defense Against Terrorist Warfare, caused the crash to get to Damian. As an elite special ops secret agent, he had been on their radar for some time. Their plan: to transform him into a superhero with incomprehensible strength and abilities.
Years later, no longer involved with the DATW, Damian cannot live with what he has become-a killing machine-and drinks nightly to numb the pain.
However, one night brings him face-to-face with his own 16-year-old daughter, Zelena-a daughter he never knew existed-and who is also part of DATW. This meeting forces Damian back into the DATW, where he must confront enemies from his past.
