Description
This is a true story. You will be horrified by the cruelty.
In 1865 the United States abolished the horror of slavery. No longer would a human being in America be considered chattel to be bought and sold at will. However, years later, the scourge of slavery, torture, and cannibalism flourished in Central Africa, especially the Congo. Here humans were considered property and "meat." Certain tribes were slave hunters and cannibals. They'd raid villages, enslave the women and children, and kill all others. Some of the victims were sold to slave merchants, while many of the most unfortunate were killed and eaten. Unfortunately, slavery is still practiced in parts of the world.
