About the Author
Matthew DiBiase has had a life-long love affair with sports history. Born and raised in Southern New Jersey, he attended college at Rutgers University-Camden College of Arts and Sciences as an undergraduate and graduate student where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in World History (with a minor in Political Science) and his Master's Degree in American History (with a focus in Public History). Matt began writing when he was 17 and by the time he had entered graduate school in college he had developed his writing skills: writing a weekly op-ed column for his college newspaper throughout his graduate school experience. In 1991 Matt made his college studies in history pay off when he started working for the National Archives at Philadelphia and has remained there ever since, working tirelessly in helping the general public learn more about American history. Throughout the years Matt never lost his love for writing poetry, song lyrics, and sports history. In 2015 he published his first book Bench Bosses: the NHL's Coaching Elite, courtesy of Fenn Imprints, a subsidiary of Penguin Random House Canada. When he is not working or writing, Matthew loves reading, high-pointing, visiting State and foreign Capitols, travelling, Facebook, and also podcasting every Thursday Night from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM EST with his colleagues Mike, Sidekick, Brandon, and Chris on the Frathouse Sports Show on www.blogtalkradio.com
